Groundbreaking at Gateway Park in the Darley Park Community

What a beautiful day for a groundbreaking! We are so pleased to officially begin work on Gateway Park in Baltimore's Darley Park neighborhood. Gelston Park: A Butterfly Garden to Honor Our Nation’s Veterans

On December 10, we celebrated the mid-project groundbreaking of a butterfly garden at Gelston Park with The Edmondson Village Community Association and in partnership with the City of Baltimore, Department of Planning's INSPIRE program. This flowering butterfly garden is dedicated to veterans of the armed forces and, when complete, will be a place of quiet reflection and beauty.

Urban Farm Project Announced

A vacant lot in West Baltimore's Rosemont community will soon host a pilot urban farm project from Parks & People, the state of Maryland, Baltimore City, Maryland Institute College of Art and Coppin State University.
